The CoolTouch 1" Valve is a temperature manager for VIQUA UVMAX E, E4, F and F4 Series UV systems or any system with 1" MNPT outlet connection. This piece of equipment is useful because the UV system can overheat without constant water flow. To prevent this, the CoolTouch Valve releases small amounts of water when the system reaches temperatures in excess of 95° fahrenheit or 35° Celsius.
