The Atlantic Ultraviolet 05-0500 UV replacement lamp is a replacement lamp for the Wedeco Aquada Altima 1, Proxima 1, and Maxima 1 systems; Culligan Aquada Altima 1, Proxima 1, and Maxima 1 systems; as well as a generic replacement lamp for other UV systems. The 05-0500 is a 4 pin single ended base with wires (B28) lamp that is 12.8 inches long (325mm). The lamp operates at 16.5 Watts with a quartz outside diameter of 17.5mm. It is extremely important to replace this lamp every 12 months to maintain proper system efficacy, especially because of the combination lamp and sleeve. As the key component of your UV system, the lamp renders micro-organisms harmless when they pass through the UV rays. Consistently exchanging aged lamps with fresh ones after 9,000 hours ensures you get the cleanest water your system can offer.
